You Like Illegal Immigration? Wrong!!

You hate the Arizona law?  You want a “path” to legalize all immigrants?  How generous of you to want to give other people’s money away!  Let’s see:  how many illegal immigrants live in your house?  Zero?  Well why not invite them in!  Sure they don’t belong there, but they should be able to go where they want.  If an illegal immigrant broke into your house and moved into your spare bedroom and starting eating your stuff, I’m sure your most pressing concern would be finding a path to share ownership with this immigrant.  No?  Why not, if that’s what they want to do?  Yeah, because there are rules and laws about how you get stuff, and they’re breaking those whether they cross the border or break into your house!

Ever go to an emergency room in an area chock full of illegal immigrants?  It’s cinco de mayo but without a pinyata!!  What do you call a Mexican with a driver’s license and insurance?  I don’t know either, but you’d have to call Mexico to find one, because here they don’t bother with trivial rules like that.  They don’t pay income tax either; they just use fake names and claim exemptions.

If millions of illegal immigrants can just come in and claim legal residency, why have any immigration control at all?  Why put some many other people through the red tape of getting a visa or green card?  Fuck it, no border at all!!  Free everything for everybody!!  Let the rich pay!!!  We’ll all ride unicorns in the shade of rainbows!

People bitch the immigrants don’t learn our culture.  But that’s crap.  They are learning.  They learn how to get free healthcare, free food, even free money all from the federal government.

There is so much to gain from unrestricted lawless immigration.  Just take a look with how things are going in Mexico.  That’s what we’ve got to look forward to!

The immigrants, by and large, are not bad people.  But you are.  Your attitude undermines a core principle of any nation that claims to live by law – that the law applies to everyone.  By excusing the mass violation of an important law, one enforced by essentially every other nation on earth, you are excusing lawlessness in general.   You want your property to be secure and respected under protection of the law, but not the community’s.  How selfish is that?

And for what?  Many immigrants were brought here to build houses people can’t afford or to pick crops for less money than citizens expected or to mow the yards of suburban drones.

Your side of the argument is wrong.  The position of controlled immigration with a reasonably secure border is the position of every reasonable nation on earth, except this one.  Even Mexico controls immigration tightly.  Letting people skip the system and yet claim all the benefits of it is on its face nonsensical and wrong.
