The Subjects:
An Epiphone Les Paul Standard
This is as no-frils, just about, as they come. Made in China. All stock. Headstock broken but expertly repaired by the craftsmen at BCRMusic.
A Gibson Custom Shop 1968 Reissue, 2002
Made by American craftsmen, this is one nice guitar. But stock it is not. The electronics have all been replaced with RS Guitarworks pots and paper in oil capacitors. Pickups have been upgraded to Skatterbranes, awesome boutique PAF sound.
A Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Reissue, with Brazilian fingerboard, 2003
Made by American craftsmen, this was part of the last and special run to get Brazilian wood for the fingerboard. Inside, a treble bleed mod has been added. Pickups are WB Pickups prototypes using 1957 copper wire, taking you back in time to when PAF's were cutting the path and making history.
The recordings, such as they are, were done through a Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue, connected by a Mogami Platinum cable, into Apple Logic and then bounced to mp3.
Here are the sound samples.

The first sample is of all three guitars. I play some clean notes on neck, then both, then bridge, then both with the neck tone dialed to 5, then the guitars switch.
All Guitars
The next set of samples are of one guitar each. First I play some notes, amp turned up to 3, on the neck pickup, then both, then bridge, then both with the neck tone dialed to 5, then I play some chords starting with the neck pickup, then both, then bridge.
