This article reviews the latest must have gadget from Apple: the iMirror. Following the iPod, iPhone, iMac, and iTouch, the iMirror will displace another outdated analog device in your pocketbook, bookbag, or whatever: the handheld mirror. There is only one thing iPod lovers love more than listening to music or having other people know they are listening to music on an iPod, and that is watching themselves listen to music on an iPod! The iMirror leaps the digital divide to provide this functionality.
For years people have continued to use the outdated, outmoded compact mirror even as the digital revolution passed them by. But that’s over now, with the rollout of the digital iMirror. The iMirror comes with an onboard 2.1 megapixel camera that provides a continuous video of whatever is in front of the iMirror to the high-resolution, ultra-high contrast, 3inch by 1.8inch screen. Color balance is great, and the camera works well even in low-light situations. The battery, which is not user replaceable, lasts about 4 hours, which is all anyone should spend in any given day looking at themselves. However, an optional car/wall charger allows you to get more use out of the iMirror. The iMirror also syncs with iTunes so you can listen to music while you look at yourself.
Here is a feature comparison between the iMirror and a typical analog reverse image viewing device (mirror).

Clearly the feature rich iMirror outpaces the old-school analog mirror. I’m giving this a thumbs up.
