Psychotherapy is a regulated health profession in Ontario; however, it is not covered under OHIP. Many extended health benefits/employer benefits do cover psychotherapy (typically as part of your health and dental insurance package). I encourage you to speak with your insurance provider about counselling services provided by a “Registered Psychotherapist” or a Canadian Certified to determine your eligibility.

University students who currently receive OSAP may be eligible for up to $2000.00 in mental health funding. Learn more, here.

Cancellation policy:

I require a full 24 hours notice for the cancellation of an appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full rate of the session regardless of the reason, including for no-shows. It is also clients’ responsibility to be on time for sessions. Regardless of when the client arrives, sessions will need to end at the originally defined end-time.
